What a week!

From the Middle School camping trip and a big Volleyball win on our first game of the season (away!), to Chavurot, and Spirit Day — the last few days were full of connection, community, and ruach. 💙

Yesterday, we were honored to welcome the Heads of 12 Jewish Day Schools from across the Bay Area who are part of the NorCal Jewish Day School Collaborative for a day of meaningful discussion in our new space. Together, these leaders work with 890 professionals, 1300 families, and 2,150 students across the Bay Area and in Sacramento too! ✡️📚

NorCal Jewish Day Schools works to support the schools through advocacy, networking to learn from each other, and building the momentum for Jewish Day School education. The collaborative has never been stronger.

It was a wonderful opportunity to connect, share ideas, and celebrate and grow the strength of Jewish education in our community. We’re so grateful for their leadership and commitment to our students and our future. 💪🏻💡

As we head into Shabbat, here are some of the highlights from our first full week of school! ✨

We gathered for Havdalah, Tefillah and Kabbalat Shabbat in our Ulam Gadol, inaugurated the kitchen with the first day of hot lunch, got our hands dirty in the garden, and saw the Peleh lab get into full swing. ✡️ 🍝🌱

We were also honored to host the Rabbis' Roundtable, an annual gathering presented by the North Peninsula Jewish Collaboration that brings together our local clergy for a meaningful conversation in preparation for the High Holiday season. 🍎🍯

A sneak peek into what's been going on this week! 👀

With the first day of school just around the corner, fall sports training kicked off this week for students in grades 5-8, as well as Hebrew Ulpan for transfer students of grades 2+. 🏐🏃‍♀️🏈🇮🇱
