Please join us at the Holiday Lights Festival on December 13th in Fossil. Donations accepted for the soup dinner will be greatly appreciated by the club. These funds help us pay for registration fees, archery and shotgun supplies and ammunition, etc.

This past Sunday was our annual Fall Recognition Awards Ceremony. This is the time of year when we recognize our youth, leaders and volunteers for their outstanding accomplishments throughout the last year. We acknowledge the the youth and volunteers for each year they’ve been a member, our superintendent’s and their junior superintendent’s for the awesome job they do at fair, the kids with the best record books, our wonderful (and hard working) county ambassadors, the junior leaders for all their hard work with their club and the community, the intermediate and senior members who received county medals, the members who had the most outstanding projects and last but certainly not least, the most outstanding senior member who this year happened to be our only county ambassador, Abby Chase.
We recited the 4-H pledge and the pledge of allegiance, played a few games, had some door prizes and enjoyed some delicious food and great company and conversation.
It was a great night to be a 4-H member in Wheeler County.
