💪 Strong schools strengthen our entire community! As Mt. Vernon grows, we’re pursuing every avenue of support—including this request to the RDC—to continue providing exceptional opportunities for our students and support the necessary Mt. Vernon High School facility expansion. 🤝

Mt. Vernon Community School Corp. approached Hancock County Redevelopment Commission Thursday morning, asking for $20 million of tax increment financing monies for expansion of Mt. Vernon High School.

MVIS 5th and 6th grade Art Club participated in Chalkfest over the weekend! The theme this year was America 250. Fifth grade’s design is titled “America 250” and sixth grade’s is “George Duckington Crossing the Delaware.” Murals are located in The Living Alley in downtown Greenfield thru Sunday! Thanks to Hancock County Arts for hosting the event. Thank you, Mrs. Zornes and Mrs. Arms for your leadership.
