Our Kindergarten classes had a week full of learning about Community Helpers. We are thankful for all those who provide important services in our community, and we are especially grateful to those who came in to talk with our classes through the week!

The slide still works.....At the end of our first full week, we celebrated 37 of our amazing students with our Weekly ShoutOuts. Students whom teachers had seen being extra kind, working hard, showing growth, etc. get called to the top of the Success Slide each Friday afternoon to be recognized, to receive a free coupon from Fortville's Mrs. M's or Scoorter's Coffee, and to have a little fun. We are blessed to have far more deserving students than we can call in a single week, but we will have about 35 more of these to try to catch everyone. ;) Keep shining bright, FES!

📣The first Early Release Wednesday will be Wednesday, August 12, since the 2026-2027 school year began on a Thursday. All K–12 schools will dismiss 45 minutes early, and buses will run 45 minutes earlier than their regular schedule. This schedule will continue every Wednesday until May 19.

There are a ton of special and fun activities happening around the end of the year. Our 1st graders had DINOmite time enjoying all of the Dino Day activities! (And our amazing group of 1st grade teachers had a lot of fun, too!)

We’ve had a full week here at FES. Country presentations, egg drop experiments and the KINDY 500! Spring brings so much fun.
