💪 Strong schools strengthen our entire community! As Mt. Vernon grows, we’re pursuing every avenue of support—including this request to the RDC—to continue providing exceptional opportunities for our students and support the necessary Mt. Vernon High School facility expansion. 🤝

Mt. Vernon Community School Corp. approached Hancock County Redevelopment Commission Thursday morning, asking for $20 million of tax increment financing monies for expansion of Mt. Vernon High School.

🧸💛 Bigs & Littles Learning Together!

On Thursday, students from Mrs. Daugherty’s Child & Adolescent Development classes from MVHS visited Mini Marauders to observe our classrooms and enjoy some mini interactions with our littles! 👀📚

It was so fun to see the big kids and little kids learning, smiling, and connecting together! 🥰

Our littles loved having some new friends to interact with, while the high school students had the opportunity to see child development in action through real classroom observations and interactions. 🌱✨

Bigs + Littles = Lots of Learning & Lots of Smiles! 💚

P is for PLAY! 💕
Our classrooms explored and learned all about the letter P this week through pickle tastings, pizza making, painting, picnics with pretzels, Pete the Cat, pajamas, and more!
🍕🥒🎨🥨🧺🧩
What a P-erfect week of learning and fun!🔤
