This morning we had such a fun time with all of our friends for our annual Halloween Parade in the backyard and Trick-or-Treating to the teachers. We would like to thank all of the parents who were able to attend. We absolutely love being able to have these events with our families. Rainbow Junction is enrolling in our Preschool Program. We are open 7:00 am to 6:00 pm Monday through Friday. We are a play based center that also has teacher led projects and activities. Our center is for 2 years old to school age. We help with potty training if you are still working on it or haven't even started yet. We have a Christmas Program every year that the children love with a surprise at the end. We have a big graduation for the kids moving on and a picnic for all of our families at the end of the year which we love because we get to spend that time with our families outside of the preschool. Rainbow Junction is now enrolling 2-5 year olds in our preschool program and has openings for school-age children. We are situated within walking distance of Walker Elementary and the bus from Ambrosini, drops off at Walker. If your TK student is having trouble adjusting to elementary school, please know that it is okay and they are welcome to enroll in our TK program. Some students join us to develop greater independence before starting elementary school. Our teachers are experienced in assisting with potty training, opening food items, and teaching the skills necessary for success in elementary school. We acknowledge that every child is unique and may not be ready for "big school." The staff at Rainbow Junction would like to inform families that Changing Tides continues to provide funding for eligible 4-year-olds.

Every morning we start our days with a morning circle. The kids love this time to sing songs and read books. Starting our day all together helps everyone sit and calm down from the excitement of everyone coming in and all the chaos that mornings bring. This is one of the reasons that it is important to start your child's day in the mornings so that they can participate in all of the activities. Morning circle teaches them how to sitting quietly and listen to the teacher. It also teaches them how to take turns if we are having our friends answer questions.
