Sixty-one years ago today, Medicare changed healthcare in America. What began as a program to serve older adults has grown into something much bigger, creating opportunities to serve, build connections, and make a difference in millions of lives.

For many of our agents, Medicare became more than a career. It became lifelong friendships, incredible mentors, a sense of purpose, and the opportunity to help people through one of life's most important decisions every single day.

Earlier this week, we had the privilege of hosting our very first Senior Market Team Agent Summit exclusively for our Senior Market Team agents, and we couldn't be more grateful to everyone who joined us.

From the very beginning, this Summit was created with one purpose: to bring our agents together and ensure they know about every tool, resource, training opportunity, carrier relationship, technology, and support system available through Senior Market Team to help them grow their Medicare businesses. Investing in our agents has always been at the heart of what we do, and this event was an extension of that commitment.

Throughout the day, we had the opportunity to share the many ways Senior Market Team is here to support our agents while also creating space for meaningful conversations, new connections, and shared learning. Seeing so many of our agents engaged, asking thoughtful questions, exchanging ideas, and investing in themselves made all the planning worthwhile.

Great conversations are happening at today's Tax Strategies for Small Business Owners workshop!

As independent agents, you're not just selling insurance. You're also running a business. We know that comes with challenges that extend far beyond Medicare, which is why, after hearing from agents who wanted more guidance on the business side of things, we introduced a new educational session, Tax Strategies for Small Business Owners.

Today's workshop was designed to provide valuable information and resources to help agents better understand tax-related considerations for small business owners and feel more confident managing their businesses.

This week's 2026 NABIP Kentucky Medicare Summit was a reminder of just how incredible the Medicare community is. The Summit brought together agents, carrier partners, and industry leaders from across the state, and we're so grateful to everyone who helped make it such a success.

The Summit kicked off Monday evening with our Happy Hour at Top Shelf Lobby. A huge thank you to Top Shelf Lobby for hosting us and helping us start the week by bringing everyone together. It was such a fun evening filled with great conversations and gave us the opportunity to catch up with colleagues and friends from across the industry.

To every agent who spent their day with us, thank you for your participation, thoughtful questions, and willingness to learn and connect with others in our industry. Seeing so many Medicare professionals come together with a shared passion for serving beneficiaries is what makes this event so meaningful year after year.
