The William M. Broderick Leadership Award is presented annually to recognize an eighth grade student’s outstanding contributions and leadership skills within the Fort Worth Academy community. This award is the highest honor a member of the graduating class can receive. This year’s William M. Broderick Leadership Award was given to Leila. Leila is recognized by her fellow students and teachers alike for her tremendous contributions to the learning environment of Fort Worth Academy. Her leadership shines through her positive demeanor and the optimistic energy she brings to those around her. For this reason, she was chosen for this honor and we are very proud of everything she has accomplished. Congratulations, Leila!

Students love stopping by the Kindland bulletin board station to fill out the cards, grab a sticker and bracelet to wear, or a pencil and bookmark to remind them about the power of kindness!

The first graders and their mothers enjoyed a lovely Mother’s Day Tea on Friday! In honor of Mother’s Day, the first graders gifted their mothers a baby doll made with rice that weighed the same amount they did when they were born! They also sang two songs honoring their moms and served them refreshments. 💕
