A strong start that lasts is Worth It. FWISD offers free, full-day pre-K at 76 schools—led by certified early-learning teachers who care in safe, welcoming classrooms. Pre-K isn’t “just daycare”: kids build confidence through purposeful play, practice routines, make friends, and grow early reading and math foundations that set them up for kindergarten.

All athletics, after-school programs, and district/campus activities scheduled for Tuesday are canceled or will be rescheduled. Campuses and program staff will share details as confirmed.
