We can hardly believe our very first year at Near Southside Montessori is coming to a close ✨

This year has been filled with so much joy; new friendships, big growth, tiny milestones, laughter in the classrooms, and a beautiful community coming together in our brand new school.

Watching our children gain confidence, independence, curiosity, and kindness has been such a gift, and we are so grateful to every family who has been part of this journey with us. 💛

Now we’re looking ahead to a summer full of creativity, exploration, and fun… and an exciting Fall semester ahead!

From science experiments and art to movement, nature, practical life skills, and creativity, every day is thoughtfully designed to inspire confidence, independence, and wonder. 🚀🌿

🌎 Last week at Near Southside Montessori we celebrated Earth Week; a full week dedicated to learning about our incredible planet and how we can care for it.

Through hands-on works and thoughtful conversations, our students explored how the Earth works, why protecting our environment matters, and how even small actions can help keep our planet clean and safe for all living creatures.

Watching children develop a love and respect for the natural world is one of the most beautiful parts of Montessori education. 💚

When our good friend Ms. Missy comes to visit, it’s time for yoga!

Through movement, breath, and focus, our students practice calming and moving their bodies while building mindfulness skills that support learning both in and out of the classroom.
