We are beyond proud to share that Charlie has been cast as the LEAD — Joseph — in Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat at Fort Worth Country Day!

Watching him grow as a musician, performer, and storyteller has been such a joy, and this role is a beautiful reflection of his hard work, dedication, and love for musical theater. We are so excited to cheer him on every step of the way—from rehearsals, to tech week, all the way to opening night when the curtain goes up and the music begins.

Tonight was truly a special moment. Watching a production that I cherished as a child and witnessing that childlike wonder light up the audience’s faces was heartwarming. It’s so beautiful to see that sense of magic reignited across generations.

Reflecting on this, I also feel a deep sense of pride watching a student I teach perform—someone I first met as a peer. My little Amahl has grown so much; he's taller than me now! In the theatre world, I jokingly say we could still pass for mother and son!

Corrigan, I am incredibly proud of you. You are not only talented but also a genuinely good person. Keep singing and sharing your gift with the world.

…more than anything, I am just proud to be their teacher.
I am proud to live in the same lifetime as them, proud to know them, honored to have their trust, grateful to lead them musically, and lucky to be in their lives.
