As a foundational expression of faith, love, and obedience to God. Scriptures consistently teach first, that serving is a way to honor God, demonstrate Christ's love, and put the needs of others before one's own. Secondly, the core principles of an internship: mentorship, servant leadership, and diligence in learning is a must. Diligence and Hard Work: calls interns to work with excellence and integrity. Colossians 3:23-24 encourages treating work as serving God rather than just a human boss.
Finally internships are real world applications. They are crucial because they provide hands-on experience, build professional networks, and significantly boost your chances of landing a full-time job in a competitive market.

The School of Chaplaincy (SOC) is pleased to highlight the remarkable achievements of Chaplain Luke Mutsigwa, a devoted man of God driven by his faith and Gods amazing grace.
SOC first encountered Pastor Luka through an online inquiry from Portland, Oregon, where he expressed interest in pursuing a career in chaplaincy. As a national and international institution, SOC frequently interacts with students residing outside of Texas. However, what sets Chaplain Luka apart is after 2 months of study he promptly relocation to Texas with his wife, coupled with his unwavering commitment to his studies. Then God blessed him with an automobile. He diligently completed his coursework, assignments, and internship requirements without any delays. We take pride in announcing that Chaplain Luka successfully obtained his chaplaincy license with distinction. Shortly thereafter, he secured employment in corporate America. Chaplain Luka's academic pursuits continued, as he earned a master's degree and was accepted into a PhD program commencing August 2026. Congratulations, Chaplain Luka ThM, on your remarkable achievements; we look forward to seeing your thesis published (SOC wants the first copy) and eagerly anticipate your transition to Dr. Mutsigwa.

We are SOC proud of you and the 1st Lady.

Congratulations to Valedictorian 2024, Chaplain Donna Rodriguez (BTh) from Philadelphia PA , for being accepted into the fall semester, Master’s Degree (ThM) Program here at SOC.
We are so proud of you and can’t wait to see all God has in stored for you next.
Gaining admission to these rigorous programs is a crucial milestone in life. It’s highly valued in corporate America because, it provides the advanced academic and research training required for ordination, specialized pastoral leadership etc.

Theological studies emphasize ethics, human identity, and community dynamics. These are highly transferable skills valued by humanitarian organizations, international aid groups, and community outreach nonprofits. No doubt, God is setting you up to be blessed and all connected.

"All work and no play”, spiritually~ consistently warns us against workaholism. Scripture teaches a balanced lifestyle, commanding hard work to provide for yourself and others, while simultaneously demanding regular rest, recreation, and time with family to protect your physical and spiritual health.
