Is there anyone near Cranfills Gap that can staple some screen wire over a hole in a tree to keep the bees inside while the tree trimmers can do their job? Then remove the screen after the tree trimmers are finished. I would but it’s a little far for me. They want to save the bees but leave them in the tree because they do not bother anyone. If no one is interested the bees will be killed. Thanks.

Thanks
Terry

The administrators are getting complaints for not approving posts in a timely manner. I check FB several times a day, every day. If an appropriate post is pending it is approved within hours. The problem is they don't show up. A user once contacted me directly to approve a post. I could not see it. He posted the same information again and the 2nd post appeared and was approved. It was over 36 hours later that the original post appeared for approval. We cannot approve posts that don't show up as pending.

Another complaint is allowing scammers to comment on posts. Comments do not need approval, and are not reviewed or removed unless a member report a problem. Adding additional comments pointing out which are scams do not get them removed. So, if you see comments about products for sale be cautious. We do our best to remove scam posts but do not read every comment.

June Monthly Meeting
On June 12, Gretchen, Russ, & the some of the MBA Class will summarize recent field trips to 3 apiaries.
17 MBA students inspected ~20 bee hives & harvested 34 lbs of honey.
We’ll show pictures of inspections & harvesting honey.
We’ll review an inspection checklist & why we look for each item.
In the meeting, we’ll ask who from the full MBA group wants to attend a future field trip, & who has a bee yard & is willing to host a field trip.

From Natalie Wright:
Hi! I'm interested in providing some of my property for someone to keep 1-2 beehives out in Springtown. Do you know anyone that would be interested in this kind of thing? I don't know how to tend to it, but I'm willing to learn to help out.
