The 6th Annual Viking Club Classic on Monday, April 6, was a great day for our community; not only did we have beautiful weather on Easter Monday, but all the participants had a fun time in the golf scramble and with the games of the tournament. We especially loved seeing alumni all the way from the Class of 1964 to 2023!
The volunteer Viking Club Executive Board wishes to extend a sincere thank you to all the players and also to the generous sponsors of the tournament who helped make it a successful day for all: Mike’s Garden Center, Astound Broadband, the Casey Family, Stampede Sports, Mid-Cities Home Medical Delivery Service, Delgado Orthodontics, the Lovato Family, B&F Finance, Werline Engineering, the Van Winkle Family, Byrne Brothers Foods, Steele Plastic Surgery, Blue Rock Marketing, Lucia Saldana, the Emeritus Viking Club Board, the Coffey Family, Yoomarkit, Eli Gross with GEC Insurance Services, and M|M|A. Because of your support, we are able to continue investing in something that truly matters: our students. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts.
As with all of the funds raised by Viking Club, the proceeds from the golf tournament will go towards our students’ approved organizations, clubs, and athletic teams. We are proud and honored to serve our community, and we thank everyone who came out to participate in this year’s tournament. Your generosity makes events like this possible.
To our amazing volunteer helpers—thank you again for your time, your energy, and your hearts. The Viking Club is powered by people like you. Whether it’s working concessions, organizing events, or showing up wherever help is needed, you are the reason we’re able to create such meaningful experiences for our families.
Gratefully,
Viking Club Executive Board

The Nolan Catholic Viking Club Executive Board greatly appreciates the volunteers who have generously helped plan this year’s golf tournament fundraiser:
Chris and Cherrie Cannon (last year’s president and board member; parents of a ‘25 graduate), Julie Spotts (former board member; parent of a ‘24 graduate), Dr. Mike Delgado (’86 alumnus; parent of ‘23 and ‘26 graduates), and Micah Coffey (parent of a ‘26 graduate).
Thank you as well to our tournament-day volunteers—current parents Sue Ann Van Winkle, Imelda Morales, John Mestayer, Matt Lester, Jennifer Brisette, Yvonne Garcia, and Rocky & Alice Cantù, along with past parents Frank Spotts, Margaret Neill, Dalia Rivas, and Tycie Raven, ‘93.
We wrapped up our final meeting last night, and the swag bags (donated by Dr. Delgado) are ready!
Happy Holy Week—we’ll see you on Easter Monday! 🙏🏻✝️💙
