Let’s cheer on our FWAJA Flames basketball team this weekend as they play in the annual BAS Bobcat Classic Tournament! 👏🏼👏🏼 🏀 Shout out to their coach for his work with the team. Proud of the work the students have put in this season and for the parental support to make it happen!

We will be open tomorrow. Please be safe on the roads. If you are tardy because of unsafe traffic conditions you will be excused. We will begin at 8:20 am as usual, however, tardies due to unsafe traffic conditions will be excused.

With winter weather still hanging around and travel conditions remaining unsafe, FWISD has announced they will be closed tomorrow, meaning we are also be closed on Wednesday, January 28, 2026.
While things are improving in some areas, many roads near the school are still icy and not safe for travel. Keeping our students and staff safe always comes first in our decision making.
Stay warm, stay safe, and please continue to keep our school community in your prayers. We can’t wait to see everyone back soon! ❄️

Good afternoon Parents!
Due to the winter weather and unsafe travel conditions, FWISD is closed for tomorrow. We have decided to also close tomorrow, Wednesday, Jan. 28,2026.
Conditions have improved in some areas but many of the areas and roads to the school are still icy and unsafe for travel. We take the safety of students and staff a priority and will be closed also. Please continue to pray for each other and our school during this time.

I pray you are safe at home during this cold weekend. This weekend is predicted to have record low temperatures. We are still unsure if we will have school on Monday.
