From Princess to Pioneer: The Monuments Men & Women of WWII

Join us for a captivating presentation on the heroes who protected Europe’s cultural treasures during World War II.

Kira Johnson will share the powerful story of her father, Clyde K. Harris of Amarillo, Texas, who served in Germany with the Monuments, Fine Arts, and Archives program—recovering stolen art, assisting European royalty, and helping restore priceless works.

You’ll also hear the remarkable family story that followed, including Princess Cecilie of Prussia’s escape from the Russian advance and the history of Schloss Cecilienhof, site of the Potsdam Conference.

Silver Frogs hit the road recently for a fun outing to the DFW Car & Toy Museum! 🚗✨

From classic cars to nostalgic toys that brought back plenty of memories, there was something around every corner to spark conversation and smiles. It was a fantastic day of exploring, reminiscing, and enjoying time together!

Silver Frogs are having a fantastic time learning the basics of sign language — from greetings to everyday phrases — and discovering new ways to connect and communicate! Go Frogs! 💜🐸

Last week, some Silver Frogs had a fantastic time exploring the The Anne Burnett Marion School of Medicine at TCU 🩺✨

From a behind-the-scenes look at how future physicians are trained to learning about the latest innovations in healthcare, it was an inspiring and eye-opening visit.
