Quickly estimate miles to Kk in your head.

You double the miles and then take that new number and find 20% of it.

Subtract the 20% number and you have an estimation.
Example:
1. 10 miles x 2 = 20
2. 20% of 20 is 4
3. 20-4=16
16 is an estimation and 16.09 is exact answer

Foreign language words really don't have any context that helps with you remember them but by creating these silly images you give the words context and meaning and that increase the odds that you'll remember them.

Math trick to calculate percentages in your head
1. Divide both numbers by 10
2. Multiply them together

By dividing both by 10 you keep the relationship the same. It can be done with any number even those not ending in 10
