Our middle school career exploration students are excited to visit Benbrook Water Authority today! 💧The trip included meeting staff at the administration building and a tour of the water treatment plant. Thanks to all the professionals who spent time teaching our students about careers in public works! 🧑🏭👷🧑💼

CTE partners at the TRWD - Tarrant Regional Water District packed a lot of learning into 4 short days! Staff hosted middle schoolers during week 1 of last week. Students job shadowed in the field and learned about environmental and conservation careers. 🌎 💧🫶

Summer Vital Link returns with unique career exploration opportunities for middle school students. Our first week is in the books, after spending 4 days visiting with staff from Performing Arts Fort Worth and touring the basshall downtown! These students learned about managing and marketing a production in addition to maintaining technical theatre equipment.

The class of 2026 is ready to walk 🎓🙌! Over 170 Teaching & Training seniors attended our annual Future Teachers Luncheon to celebrate program completion and college and career readiness. These students visited with higher ed and industry partners, and attended info sessions from Talent Management and Early Learning departments in an ongoing effort to boost our teacher pipeline! We are excited for their pursuit of education and can’t wait to welcome these graduates back to our classrooms.

Seniors from North Side High School’s Education and Training program spent the morning with friends from Jo Kelly. Students met at Rollerland West for an end of year celebration! Our teachers work to build educational opportunities that offer students both real-world experiences and lasting friendships.🫶
