May Camp is here! The Everman High School Band is rockin and rolling and getting ready for Graduation tomorrow as well as welcoming in the incoming Freshmen!

Congrats to the Trumpet Quartet on their performance at the State Solo and Ensemble Contest this afternoon! These gentlemen went all the way past Austin and received an “Excellent” rating for their performance! Way to go Abel, Jeanpaulo, Javier, and Michael!

Congratulations to Christy Chavez and Taniya Prince for their performance at the Choir State Solo and Ensemble Contest! Taniya earned an Excellent Rating and a silver medal and Christy earned a Superior Rating alongside a gold medal! The Band’s Trumpet Quartet is scheduled to compete on Monday. School may be out for the summer, but Fine Arts is still putting in the work! 💪💪💪🥇🥈

Beginners from Baxter JH and Johnson STEM Academy went to the Pride of Texas Music Festival this week! Both groups came back with Superior Ratings from all judges to receive a “1” on their trophy! Great job, beginners!

Congratulations to the Baxter Junior High Wind Symphony and Symphonic Bands! Both bands earned a Sweepstakes Trophy for the 3rd year in a row, marking a campus record! We are so proud of their hard work and dedication to excellence. Great job, Bulldogs!

🎉 Congratulations, Daniel Cruz! 🎉

We are incredibly proud of Daniel Cruz for his outstanding achievement in music! This past weekend, Daniel earned 1st chair at the TMEA Area audition, placing him among the top 8 Bass Trombonists in 5A across the entire state of Texas. He then advanced to a final recorded audition and was ranked 2nd in the state overall!

Daniel has officially earned a spot in the TMEA 5A All-State Band and will perform at the TMEA Conference in San Antonio on February 14th. This is the highest honor a high school musician can receive, and Daniel is only the third student in Everman history to achieve this honor!
