Our Raider Teams competed in the 9th annual JROTC FWISD Raider Challenge on 10 FEB 2024. Our COED Team led by Seniors Cadet Captains Miguel Gutierrez and Janet Watson for the second consecutive year won all 5 categories. The female team led by Junior Stephanie Hernandez won 4 out of 5 categories and securing 1st place in the female division. Congratulations to all Raider Teams and keeping the winning tradition alive!

Our Raider Team winning the 2022-23 FWISD Raider Challenge for the 7th year. The team was led by C/SFC Miguel Gutierrez and C/MSG Janet Watson as juniors. Our COED A Team won 4 out of 5 events and our COED B Team was led by Cadet Mohamed Mansour and won 1st Place for Rope Bridge so we won all 5 categories: PT Test, Litter Carry, 3K Run, Gauntlet, Rope Bridge.

Our COED Raider Team winning the Raider FWISD District Champion Trophy for the 6th year for SY 2021-22. The team was led by Cadet 2LT Arturo Duran and the B Team led by our BN CDR C/LTC Marlyn Alvarez. Once again we won 4 out of 5 events.

Congratulations to the Leadership JLAB Team, led by Cadet 2LT Ana Gomez, with sophomores Adrianna Rodriguez, Sebastian Flores, and freshmen Elizabeth Del Rio. They were one of only a few teams to be selected for the National Finals in Washington DC this June to compete against the best teams in the nation. This is the third year in a row one of North Side's JROTC JLAB teams has qualified for the Nationals. This is a great accomplishment. Wish them luck!

Congratulations to the JROTC Academic JLAB Team for advancing to the National 2016-17 Army JROTC Academic Bowl Championship in Washington, DC. Out of over 1400 JROTC schools 24 teams advanced to the nationals. The team is led by Cadet Master Sergeant Lauren Contreras, with cadets: Hector Baez, Mariana Vazquez and Alma Briones.
Also Congratulations to the JROTC Leadership JLAB Team for advancing to the National 2016-17 Army JROTC Leadership Bowl Championship in Washington, DC. Out of over 1400 JROTC schools 40 teams advanced to the nationals. Both teams came in 1st Place within Texas and surrounding states. The Leadership Team is led by Cadet Master Sergeant Ana Gomez with cadets: Marco Gonzalez, Alexandra Ramirez, Ana Mendez, and Margarita Torres. Both groups have been practicing hard since the beginning of the year and North Side will send 8 of its best cadets to Washington DC for 5 days to compete with the best teams in the nation. Outstanding job JROTC!

North Side Team once again dominant. Female Team led by Cadet SSG Ramirez placed 1st Overall winning 4 of 5 events. The COED Team led by Cadet CPL Granados and Cadet A. Rodriguez placed 1st Overall winning 3 out of 5 events. The Male Masters Team was dominant and no one wanted to compete with them.
