Dr. Eden Miller is a family medicine physician with a postgraduate fellowship in obesity medicine and diabetology, with her own private practice in Bend, Oregon. In this episode of ACOOG’s Women’s Health Minutes podcast, she explains why PCOS is being reframed as PMOS, and what that shift means for how clinicians diagnose and treat these complicated cases, and the opportunity it presents for better patient engagement.

ACOOG has signed on in support of the Patients First Act (H.R. 9693) — joining AOA and other national partners behind the most significant Medicare physician payment bill in a decade.

The legislation would tie annual Medicare payment updates to actual practice cost growth, modernize outdated budget neutrality rules, create a physician-led process for quality measures, and support rural practices through the Geographic Practice Cost Index.
