I was just reading the Hometown by Handlebar blog, and all of the great Panther City info made me curious--does anybody know (or have a guess) on what the oldest building in FW is? Supposedly there is a fragment of the original fort in the courthouse, and the oldest elevator in town is in the Southside's Golf warehouse (no buttons, just pull cables), but I'd like to know about the oldest existing building.

Here's an old pencil drawing that I picked up at a garage sale for $2.00. This is one of four that I bought. I'll post the others soon. Any guesses on what year this might have been? It's for sure before the Omni theater was built in the early 1980's.
