Looking for a way to support immigrant communities this summer?

Join the Texas Immigration Law Council, Network for Justice, & NorCal Resist via Zoom on May 13th at 1PM CST for a practical and community-centered Emergency Planning Workshop designed to help law students and community members support immigrant communities in times of uncertainty. This event will walk through key steps individuals can take to prepare for potential detention, including creating emergency contact lists, understanding power of attorney, and organizing essential documents.

The program will feature a 30-minute presentation followed by 20 minutes of Q&A, as well as breakout rooms that connect participants by region to share resources and build local support networks. We are also honored to host a representative from NorCal Resist, who will provide insight into current conditions and urgent needs on the ground.

Come ready to learn, connect, and leave with tools you can use to make a meaningful impact.
