HOLY COW, we have been learning a lot! Today during knowledge, the students were able to experience what it is like to milk a cow!

This morning we took our unit assessment about farms & In the afternoon, we got to look at some real farm animals!

We hope you have had a great weekend! We are SO excited about this coming week! We are ending our unit about farms & have 3 days of some fun activities that will turn into some core memories!

Kindergarten has spent the last few weeks learning about the 5 senses and how important they are. The last two days, we learned about Ray Charles and Helen Keller, how their disabilities impacted them, how they persevered to do remarkable things, and how they used their other senses to help them! Students practiced reading “Braille”, and finding a chair to sit in, blindfolded without verbal instructions.

Always so much fun in kindergarten!!!

Today kindergarten started our new unit on the 5 senses! Of course we had to test all five of our senses with a tasty snack… POPCORN! 🍿

I cannot believe we are almost done with week 2 of kindergarten!

We have been teaching the “right” and “left” hands. They’ve been practicing by greeting each other with shaking each others “right” hand.
