THREE DAYS. ONE AMAZING CONCERT. 🎉 Our Timberview Hawk Band students showed up to Sounds of Summer Band Camp (band camp open to ALL KISD Middle School Band Students) ready to work — and the result was a performance full of heart, growth, and pure musicianship! 🎷🥁 Learning brand-new music and performing it in just 72 hours is no small feat, and these students absolutely rose to the challenge. So proud of you all! 💜🤍

Thank you to some awesome band dads that were available to help us move a large table from upstairs to downstairs today! We now have a functioning new band office and private lesson teacher zone in order to make more space available in the band hall for teaching. Next year is going to be great!!

The Sounds of Summer Band Camp Registration is now open. This is a camp open ONLY to KISD Middle School Band Students. The camp is open to ALL current 6th, 7th AND 8th grade students. The dates are June 2-4 (11:30-4pm) and it will be at Timber Creek High School. Tuition for camp is $125. More details are below from the official Sounds of Summer Camp Website. (Friendly reminder, this camp is not a required one for our students, but encouraged!)

WHAT A NIGHT! 🎉 Our 2nd Annual Timberview Band Picnic was absolutely unforgettable!
Band families packed in for a bring-your-own-dinner picnic, Kona Ice kept everyone cool, and we got to welcome back our amazing alumni who are now marching with the Timber Creek Falcon Band. Once a Wolf, always family!
AND THEN... the legendary Parents vs. Students Water Balloon Fight broke out with over 1,000 WATER BALLOONS. 💥 The chaos. The screaming. The soaked shoes. It was glorious. (Students, we’re coming for the rematch next year.) (We also picked up every single piece after!)

🎶 WHAT A NIGHT, HAWK FAMILIES! 🎶
Last night, 157 of our incredible band students took the stage (or gym floor…) for our Spring Concert — the final performance of the year — and absolutely brought the house down! 🦅🎺
Our Beginning Band, Concert Band, and Symphonic Band each performed THREE outstanding pieces, and then… the moment we’d all been waiting for. Every. Single. Student. Together. 🤯 All 157 musicians joined forces for a thunderous performance of “Heavy Metal” — and WOW, did they deliver!
And let’s not forget our amazing Wind Ensemble, who wrapped their season last week at Timber Creek High School with an additional 60 students performing in a professionally recorded concert headed to enter some national contests! 🏆🎶
To our students — you worked SO hard this year and it shows. We are bursting with pride. 💜
To our parents and families — thank you for the rides, the practice time at home, the encouragement, and for being the backbone of this program. We couldn’t do it without you. ❤️
