TCU’s College of Education continues to climb in the rankings for U.S. News & World Report Best Graduate Schools. Increasing steadily over the last four years, the 2026 ranking is closing in on the Top 100.

It’ 104th ranking is higher than several larger regional neighbors such as Baylor University, the University of North Texas and the University of Texas at Arlington.

“TCU’s College of Education is truly outstanding, and this year’s ranking is a testament to that,” said Jan Lacina, Bezos Family Foundation Endowed Chair in Early Childhood Education and senior associate dean for research, graduate studies and strategic partnerships. “We are competitive with well-established R1 universities, but we have the strength and unique educational advantage of a teacher-scholar model college.”

TCU ranked 20th in the U.S. among private schools and was second only to one other Texas private institution.
