The FWISD Board of Managers has approved a plan to pause Additional School Day Year (ADSY) programming for summer 2026. The last day of school for ADSY campuses is now May 21!

Wedgwood families: As you plan ahead for this semester, here’s a key reminder: Feb. 16 is a required school day for our ADSY campus.

We’re also hosting Level Up Family Learning Day, including:
-Reading and Math Power-Ups (simple strategies you can use at home)
-Student-led Checkpoint Conferences
-Campus details like rotations and lunch (varies)

There is school on Tuesday, November 11, and families are invited to attend our ADSY Campus Showcase Day.

When: Tuesday, November 11, 2025 (regular school day)
Where: Wedgwood Middle School

What to expect:
• Parent workshops
• Classroom visits with short, hands-on activities with your child
• A resource fair featuring campus, District, and community partners
• Optional lunch — come early or stay late to eat with your child

ADSY stands for Additional Days School Year, which provides more learning time and family engagement while keeping the same teachers, buses, and meals. The extra time helps students grow in reading and math.
