We are excited to have classes during Spring Break! Explore and create with your fellow artists as we present:
Where the Wild Things Are.
Students will interpret the classic story and folklores of the world through their own personal journey and imagination. Artes Academy Teaching Artists will guide students in creating, designing and embracing their “monsters and call of the wild” through theatre, creative writing, movement and visual art.
Spring Break classes begin Monday March 13th - Friday March 17th from 10:30 am-2:30 pm. Register today!

Pretty much how we feel as we welcome our Spring 2023 Artes Academy students!!
We begin classes this week, starting today with Dance and Technology on Mondays and Wednesdays. Theater and Visual Art classes are on Tuesdays and Thursdays.

Artes de la Rosa Cultural Center for the Arts at the Rose Marine Theater Artes Academy is honored to have local artist, Patrik Lerma, lead our Visual Art department. Mr. Patrik is another rockstar Artes Academy parent who is an exceptional artist and a highly creative art instructor delivering visual art education with a focus in sculpting, print making, stenciling, and photography.
Mr. Patrik's classes focuses on integrating multi-dimensional, interdisciplinary, and multicultural curriculum that links the arts, culture, and social movements.
This semester students will learn how to screen print, set and prop design. Students will focus on layered images to produce multi-ground work and understanding the importance of not just a centerpiece but also the composition of their design.
Saturday, February 4th at 12 pm, we are hosting an orientation for students and families and we invite you to join. Meet our Teaching Artists, learn more about our Spring 2023 classes, take a tour of the space and register!

We are thrilled to highlight our next Artes de la Rosa Cultural Center for the Arts at the Rose Marine Theater Artes Academy Teaching Artist, Sara Herrera aka Ms. Sara! Not only is Ms. Sara Artes Academy’s Education Director but she’s also our beautifully dynamic dance teacher💃🏽 Students will learn the fundamentals of dance in the styles of Jazz, Modern, Musical Theater and Contemporary. Ms. Sara shares her love of dance any chance she gets and her goal is for her students to develop a better understanding of dance history, appreciation and gain valuable experience in the performing arts. And to also HAVE FUN🙌🏽
