The TCU IdeaFactory is “product focused” wherein cross-disciplinary student teams and faculty mentors advance an idea to realization.

The TCU IdeaFactory is an educational initiative from the College of Science and Engineering aimed at providing TCU undergraduates out-of-the-box experiences in creativity, leadership and entrepreneurship. Students participating in the IdeaFactory are encouraged to take advantage of additional TCU resources including the Neeley Entrepreneurship Center and their Values & Ventures competition in the Spring.

"As a graphic design major, I found Dr. Richard Buchanan's lecture very compelling and applicable. He helped me realize that the knowledge and skills I have acquired in my specific department don't have to be limited to to that particular area of study, but that I can use my curiosity and philosophy of design thinking to help craft innovative solutions in any industry. I look forward to using this design thinking mentality to better comprehend how human beings interact and identify not only with our products and services, but with one another."
-Nikki Welty, BFA in Graphic Design (Senior)
