Congratulations to our Alumni Max Muciño for becoming an assistant band director! As classes start up, we are so happy to see the RAMily involved in education!

We are excited to announce another member of the Hudson Band team, assistant director Mr. Macedonio Muciño!

Mr. Muciño is excited to join the Hudson Middle School Band family as an Assistant Director. A veteran Texas music educator and professional trumpet player, Mr. Muciño recently relocated to the Garland area after four years of teaching in Cleveland ISD, where he directed non-varsity ensembles, jazz bands, percussion ensembles, and beginner brass and percussion.

Beyond public school band programs, Mr. Muciño has served as an adjunct professor of instrumental music at Stephen F. Austin State University, Navarro College, and Lone Star College. As a versatile freelance trumpet player, guest clinician, and soloist, he has performed throughout the United States and brings a wealth of real-world performance experience into the classroom. He holds degrees from Weatherford College, Texas Wesleyan University, and Stephen F. Austin State University.

Driven by a commitment to strong musical foundations and student-centered growth, Mr. Muciño fosters confidence, leadership, and a lifelong love of music in every student. He looks forward to collaborating with the Hudson staff, parents, and community to continue building upon the program's tradition of excellence. Outside of music, Mr. Muciño enjoys riding motorcycles and playing video games with his daughter.
