Free summer meals are back in Fort Worth ISD! ☀️🍎

Starting June 2 through July 2, children 18 and under can receive FREE breakfast and lunch Monday–Thursday at participating FWISD campuses.

Students do not need to attend Fort Worth ISD or be enrolled in summer school to participate.

The FWISD Board of Managers has approved a plan to pause Additional School Day Year (ADSY) programming for summer 2026. The last day of school for ADSY campuses is now May 21!

Bronco Families-- We only have 5 more school days until our first STAAR test! Please help ensure your students are at school and on time every day so they can best prepare for testing!

*Tuesday, April 7th-- Reading STAAR (3rd-5th grades)
*Tuesday, April 14th-- Science STAAR (5th grade)
*Tuesday, April 21st-- Math STAAR (3rd-5th grades)

Bronco Families- This is a great opportunity! 4Families begins this Thursday, March 26th. It is FREE, with child care, and meals provided! Please register via the QR code!

Our 2026 WHES Career Day last week was a HUGE success! Bronco students learned about many different career opportunities and the educational paths required to achieve those goals. We learned so much from our wonderful presenters! Thank you to everyone who took time out of their busy schedules to participate in our Career Day! You helped open our students’ minds to so many possibilities. We also want to give a special shoutout to our Student Ambassadors, who demonstrated their leadership skills by guiding our presenters around for the day. They did an amazing job; we are so proud of them!

ADSY Family Day is February 16th, 2026. Please sign up for a data meeting led by your student via email sent in Parent Square.

Western Hills families: As you plan ahead for this semester, here’s a key reminder: Feb. 16 is a required school day for our ADSY campus.

We’re also hosting Level Up Family Learning Day, including:
-Reading and Math Power-Ups (simple strategies you can use at home)
-Student-led Checkpoint Conferences
-Campus details like rotations and lunch (varies)
