A survey by ESFI and NEMA found that power surges are responsible for over 1/3 of unplanned outages and downtime in facilities across the country. By installing SPDs at key points in your electrical system, you can help ensure your equipment is protected from power surges and mitigate downtime. ⚡ The 2026 National Electrical Code is now in effect in Texas. Beginning today, September 1, Texas has officially adopted the 2026 NEC. IEC Fort Worth offers on-demand, TDLR-approved online courses to help electricians, contractors, inspectors, and other industry professionals understand the changes and stay current—on their own schedule.
