Here is more about Chris you should know:
1️⃣ How long have you been doing CrossFit and why did you start?
I’ve been officially doing CrossFit for almost a year, but I attended Saturday classes with my wife (Brittany) for about a year before that. I started because I wanted a structured workout program that would keep me motivated — and CFIH Saturday classes were fun! Having a shared hobby with Brittany was also a plus.
2️⃣ What advice would you give to someone who is considering trying CrossFit?
I’d recommend it. It’s a fun way to get stronger and healthier, and it’s a great community to be part of.
3️⃣ What is something about you most people don’t know?
I love Buc-ee’s. (Just kidding — everyone knows I love Buc-ee’s.) I used to figure skate when I was a kid, and when I was eight I did a 007-themed performance.
4️⃣ What is something you’re proud of that you had to work hard for?
Sticking with and being consistent at CF for the past year, even when I’m frustrated that I can’t do this-or-that. Becoming a lawyer — and being a good one. Disciplining myself to be intentional as a husband and dad. (I’m still working at all of these!!!)

What do you do when your motivation to work out slows down or dies?
Most people think they need to find a way to motivate themselves again, and while that can help in the short term, long term success has very little to do with motivation.
Those who achieve lasting results aren't the ones who stay motivated year round. They're usually the ones who have learned how to keep showing up after the excitement wears off, when life gets busy, and when setbacks occur. Because they will, and that's a normal part of the process.
Some days you'll feel eager to work out, eat well, and tackle your goals.
Some days you won't.
The key is learning how to stay consistent regardless.

“Why do some people fail fitness programs?”
