The 7th grade class went the Ft. Worth Nature Center and Refuge today. We explored the wetlands, woodlands and prairie. The students got their hands wet and collected aquatic macro invertebrates and observed prairie dog behavior.

4th grade loves the tradition of Merit Stones at SACS!!
For the past 21 years, SACS has a tradition of providing each student with a special merit stone to take home at the end of the school year. The merit stone includes the student’s name, school year, teacher name, and a special quality about the child chosen by the teacher. It is wonderful to keep all the stones from your child’s time here at Saint Andrew Catholic School and see all the attributes that make them who they are!

Today we welcomed the senior Theology students from Cristo Rey Fort Worth High School for a very special visit with our 1st–3rd grade Wildcats!
As part of their senior final project, the students created children’s books that teach different aspects of the Catholic faith. Today, more than 40 seniors came to campus to read their beautifully written stories to our students and followed each reading with fun activities.
There was so much excitement in every classroom as our little Wildcats listened, learned, laughed, and interacted with the high school students. The books were incredibly thoughtful and well done, and our students were truly impressed.
What a meaningful experience for both schools and such a wonderful way to share faith, creativity, and joy with our young learners!
Today our eighth graders shared a very special Mass with us — the last Mass they will celebrate as students of Saint Andrew Catholic School. As part of our cherished tradition, we gathered to bless them on their way as they prepare for the next chapter of their journey.
Surrounded by their teachers, classmates, and family, they received a special blessing today as we prayed that God’s grace, wisdom, and protection go with them wherever they may go.
“May the blessing of God be upon you.”
We are so proud of these Wildcats and know they will continue to shine their light in high school.

A huge thank you to Mayor Mattie Parker for spending the morning with our Wildcats! Thank you as well for agreeing to be part of our auction and for coming to read to Mrs. Thompson’s 4th grade class, the winner of this special auction item. What a memorable experience for our students!
Our students loved hearing about leadership, community, and how the city of Fort Worth operates. Mayor Parker was incredibly generous with her time, answering countless student questions with energy, enthusiasm, and genuine care. She never seemed to tire of the students’ curiosity!
Our eighth grade history students had written letters to her beforehand, and it meant so much that she wanted to come meet them in person. It was such a fun and memorable morning, and we all walked away learning even more about what makes Fort Worth such a wonderful city to call home.
Thank you, Mayor Parker, for inspiring our students and investing in the next generation of leaders!

Casey & Co has shown so much love to our school. Every year for the past few years, Casey brought her boutique to us, gifting our faculty and staff something for Teacher Appreciation Week. This year we wanted to give back to her. SACS’s Fab faculty and staff, along with Feastivities Gourmet To Go, held a Sip & Shop to show our appreciation. It was a great turn out! The challenge of keeping the surprise was hard, but we pulled it off. It was a nice surprise to see the items Casey and George made that are now available to purchase. Come see!
Thank you Casey for all that you do!
