UNT Health Fort Worth has received final approval from the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges to offer a new Ph.D. in Pharmaceutical Sciences degree program, officially adding the degree to the institutionโs academic offerings.

This week we recognized Medication Safety Week (April 1-7). Pharmacists play a critical role in keeping patients safe every day by reviewing prescriptions for accuracy, preventing harmful interactions, providing counseling, and helping patients understand how to take their medications safely and effectively.
