Join us Monday, September 14, at 6:15 p.m. for the Captain David R. Herr Jr. ’80 Memorial Lecture, featuring Rick Atkinson. A three-time Pulitzer Prize winner and bestselling author, Atkinson brings pivotal moments in American history to life through his acclaimed books. Cuteness overload today as our kindergarteners met their senior buddies! One kindergartener summed up the first meeting perfectly: “I have a new best friend!” Members of the Class of 2027 delivered their kindergarten buddies’ Quad shirts, which they’ll proudly wear to school tomorrow for Convocation! What a heartwarming tradition – our youngest Falcons building friendships with our oldest Falcons. ❤️💙

Today, all Upper School students gathered in the Scott Theater to recite FWCD's Honor Pledge, led by the Honor Council. Saying the pledge together, side by side, showed each student’s commitment to the values at the heart of the FWCD community: integrity, kindness, courage, respect, responsibility and scholarship. Following the Honor Pledge, the students added their signatures to the Honor Book.

Today is the soft launch of the Falcon Feeder’s new menu, and we’re starting with two breakfast favorites: make-your-own omelets for $5 and customizable waffles for $3! ☕️✨ Come by for a bit and give it a try!
