We will be opening from 10:00am - 12:00noon tomorrow, Thursday for those that need to come in and test and/or pick up more packets.
School will be closed again tomorrow, Wednesday. Hope everyone is staying safe and warm. Remember, if there is ice on the roads and bridges, please stay home. You have packets you can work on at home, plus you don't want Mrs Ameta driving on anything with ice. đ
Good Morning! School will be closed Monday due to the weather. Stay home and stay safe! Will let you know about Tuesday sometime tomorrow.
School will be closed on Monday for MLK Day. Enjoy!
School starts back on Tuesday, Jan. 6.
It is with great sadness but also great rejoicing that our friend and pastor Jim Brady went home to be with Jesus this morning. Jim loved us and he loved Crossroads. He loved teaching the students art. He would have what he called âCamp Fireâ time with the middle school boys, where they would sit in a circle, read and discuss something that the boys always thought was interesting. Jim would bring his guitar and sing with the students and of course, he was always telling them jokes or pulling jokes on them. When Crossroads lost their lease in the building that we had been in for 17 years, we were looking to possibly occupy some rooms at a local Baptist church that they no longer used. Jim called us 8 times in one day begging us to pray about bringing the school back to Living Word where it all began with North West Christian Academy. Crossroads wouldnât exist today if it werenât for JB, Gwen and North West. Jim was no longer able to pastor the church full time, and he wanted ministry to continue on in that building. Last week when we were visiting with him, he told us to just wait. He was coming back and teaching again and sitting on the porch watching the food outreach that he began many years ago as it continues going with Bibles and Bread. He had me look at each one of his latest drawings in his sketch book. He was a man of so many talents, and he loved using each one of them. Jim, we love you and will miss you.
Our special class for tomorrow, Oct. 8th, has been postponed until further notice. Our speaker has a family emergency.
