Congratulations to Shane Goforth for TMEA President-Elect for being voted the next President-Elect of TMEA. I know your excellent service to the band division will show in your leadership of our association. Thank you to everyone that supported our campaign and helped me share my vision with our membership. I am proud to have represented many diverse populations throughout this campaign.

Change can be a good thing and learning something new is the constant theme of education. I bring a new perspective and a diverse view of music education in Texas to the TMEA Executive Board. Your vote will help me bring new views to the table and allow me to share previously underrepresented views with an important organization to music classrooms in Texas.
