🖤💙 The Black & Blue Showdown is BACK! 💙🖤

Beginning Tuesday, September 8, River Trails will be collecting food and monetary donations to support the 6 Stones New Hope Center! This annual food drive helps stock nearly 90% of its pantry for the year and provides much-needed support to families right here in HEB.

🥫 Food donations: September 8–25
💵 Monetary donations: September 8–October 3
🐯 RTE’s goal: 1,000 points
⭐ Each donated food item earns one point
💰 Monetary donations earn double points!

The grade level with the most points at the end of the first week will earn POPSICLES for the entire grade level! 🍧

Just a little Friday reminder before we head into the long weekend — RTE Friday Hat Passes go on sale when we return on Tuesday! 🧢🎉

Choose the pass that works best for your Tiger:

🧢 $5 — 4-Week Pass
🧢 $10 — First Semester Pass
🧢 $20 — Full-Year Pass

📅 Sales: Tuesday, Sept. 8 – Thursday, Sept. 10

🐯 Students: Purchase at the table in the main hallway from 7:15–7:40 AM

👨‍👩‍👧 Parents: Stop by the front office from 8:00 AM–3:00 PM and purchase from Ms. Leah

Want to send your Tiger to school in their favorite hat on Fridays AND help our 4th graders get to Austin?! It’s a win-win. 🙌

Starting Tuesday, September 8, we’ll be selling Friday Hat Passes with three options to choose from:

🧢 $5 — 4-Week Pass
Hat Days: Sept. 11, Sept. 18, Sept. 25 & Oct. 2

🧢 $10 — First Semester Pass
Wear a hat every Friday from Sept. 11 through the end of the first semester!

🧢 $20 — Full-Year Pass

A huge THANK YOU to everyone who joined us for our PTA Arts & Crafts Night following our first PTA meeting of the 2026–2027 school year!

Our RTE Tigers brought the creativity, smiles, and school spirit as we kicked off the year with an evening full of fun, friendship, and lots of colorful masterpieces! ✂️🖍️🎨

We’re so grateful to our amazing PTA for hosting such a wonderful event and to all of our families who came out to make it such a special night.

Grab your little artists and join us for RTE PTA Arts & Crafts Night! 🎨🐯

We’ll start with a brief PTA meeting before opening TEN craft tables filled with bracelet making, school spirit posters, collages, beaded keychains, tear art, and plenty of opportunities to get creative!

You don’t have to already be a PTA member to attend. Come meet other RTE families, learn a little more about our PTA, and enjoy a fun night with your Tigers!
