After 22 beautiful years, I am officially closing the doors to my in-home childcare.
This has been more than a job for me—it has been one of the greatest honors of my life.
For over two decades, families trusted me with their most precious gifts: their children. And that is a responsibility I have never taken lightly. I have loved every early morning, every tiny laugh, every milestone, every hug at pickup, and even every hard day that helped shape us all.
I had the privilege of being one of the first to witness so many of life’s sweetest transitions. I was there for bottle weaning, first steps, first words, potty training, learning to share, learning to be kind, and learning the little life skills that become the foundation for who they grow into. I got to help teach them how to hold a spoon, tie a shoe, use their words, say “please” and “thank you,” and believe in themselves. Watching them grow from babies into little people with big personalities has been one of the most rewarding experiences I could have ever asked for.
To have played even the smallest part in raising so many amazing children has meant more to me than words can truly express. Some of “my babies” are now teenagers, graduates, and grown with families of their own—and that alone is one of my greatest blessings.
To every child who has come through my doors: thank you for letting me love you, teach you, nurture you, and grow with you.
And to my daycare parents—thank you.
Thank you for trusting me.
Thank you for choosing me.
Thank you for allowing me to be a part of your village.
Thank you for every early drop-off, every late pickup, every conversation, every holiday gift, every recommendation, every prayer, and every year of loyalty and support. Thank you for trusting me to help care for and love your babies as my own.
This chapter is closing, but the love, memories, and bonds created here will stay with me forever.
From the bottom of my heart, thank you for 22 unforgettable years.
It has truly been my honor to help raise your babies. ❤️
