A wonderful morning spent with fellow school administrators at the ACSI Leadership Network Meeting! I always feel encouraged by being around like-minded leaders who work for Kingdom Building purposes by providing our students with the highest levels of educational experiences and learning outcomes.

We discussed Crucial Conversations about relevant issues in society today, Legal issues, & the impact and implication of AI in schools today. I thoroughly enjoyed the discussions with my table group to learn about how other school leaders are handling these issues.

I am grateful that our school is a member of ACSI!!!

It is with a very, VERY heavy heart and deep disappointment that we have made the extremely difficult decision to cancel our school plans entirely for this year.

About a month ago we learned we were losing our building in Willow Park due to various unfortunate circumstances with our partner church and the delay in getting our certificate of occupancy. We immediately started searching for a new location and had several options, but, during the time it was taking to get a location secured, we lost several enrolled students in addition to several pending enrollments. Due to the loss of these students, we no longer had sufficient tuition income or financial means to pay teachers, to pay additional curriculum materials needed for our academic program, nor to pay the rent that we would have owed for a new facility.

This decision was not made lightly!! So many things have happened that were out of our control - from losing the building to losing student enrollments - and this has just had a domino effect. Nothing I can say or write will truly express the depth of my grief over this whole situation. We know that God is in control, and that He has a plan. Getting this school up and going and to the point where we were about to launch and gain significant traction has essentially been the entire focus of my life for over 2+ years since the school was incorporated in April of 2022, so this decision is extremely difficult for my family as well.

The plan now over the 24'-25' school year is to regroup, raise capital funds, secure a location, and reopen enrollment auditions in March 2025. We ask that you please pray:

That God will reveal His plans
That He will hold the students who are now seeking other plans for the year in the palm of His hand
That He will bring His peace
That He will provide us with a secure location.
That He will open doors that He wants open, and close doors that need to remain shut.
And always - for wisdom and discernment along this journey.

We will be doing a big push for North Texas Giving Day and Giving Tuesday in an effort to raise capital funds for next year. I thank you for your support and prayers during this time.

So now we are spending time regrouping and we WILL BE BACK - better than before - next year!

Impromptu trip to Oklahoma City to pick up a HUGE collection of free music for the school!! Thousands of pieces of music from vocal to orchestral to drama!! We are extremely grateful to Joy C. For meeting us at 9pm to let us in & to the Baptist Temple Church in Oklahoma City for this huge blessing for our school!!!
