Congratulations KCA Class of ‘26!!

One week from today we make history...again! KCA class of 2026 will celebrate the graduation of our second class of students. Most of these students have been Owls from the very beginning! Join us in celebrating these amazing students!

Tomorrow morning from 8am-10am we will be hosting the CTE Scholarship Breakfast. This event will have 300+ guests in attendance and so our Front lot as well as a portion of our East lot will be reserved for the guests of this event. If you are a student and you do NOT have to leave campus during your class for internships or practicum, please ride the bus or have a family member drop you off at school. The lots will re-open after the lunch hour so 5th and 7th period students will not be affected. Thank you for your help in making this event a success on our campus!

We have had a great start to a week of well deserved appreciation for our teachers! Thank you to all of our Owl families and business partners that have generously donated to help our teachers feel the love.

What a great Monday!
Books team began the day by taking 3rd place in the North Texas Battle of the Books competition! They competed against 14 other high school teams from across our region and went undefeated in the first 3 rounds!
In the evening we were able to celebrate with our Top 10 Graduates and their families as a part of the KISD Rising Star Banquet.
Such a great day to be an Owl!!

CTE’s Career and Technical Student Organizations National Achievements: Health Occupation Students of America (HOSA). The students are joined by Trustees Jenniker Erickson and Chris Coker.

Today’s tour took us to Southwestern University. Our students were able to learn about a small liberal arts environment with similarities to KCA. It really seems like everyone knows your name with small class sizes and personalized opportunities including a 97% placement in grad school or career field after graduation. Thanks for the amazing hospitality Southwestern Pirates!

What a great day touring UT Austin with our juniors! Highlights for the day include lunch with some of our KCA alumni, catching a UT baseball game, and Mrs. Hutchins new favorite - Jeni’s ice cream!
