❤️✨ February at Patti Cakes Child Care Was Full of LOVE & LEARNING! ✨❤️

Last month our little scholars were introduced to the letters Mm & Nn, numbers 13 & 14 (and 3 & 4 for our toddlers), and our shape of the month was a ❤️ heart!

We explored our community helper — the Baker 🧁 — which made our Valentine’s theme extra sweet!

We also celebrated Black History Month, learning, creating, and having meaningful conversations in age-appropriate ways.

And of course… we made sure to get those wiggles out with yoga stretches and freeze dance parties 💃🏽🧘🏽‍♀️

We celebrated special birthdays 🎉 and had the cutest Valentine’s Day Photo Shoot 📸❤️

At PCCC, learning is hands-on, intentional, and FUN — because we believe children learn best through play, movement, and love.

🌙💛 Our First Parents Night Out Was So Special 💛🌙

Saturday night was our very first Parents Night Out at Patti Cakes Child Care, and my heart is so full.

We colored, played with playdoh, read books, laughed outside, and even made slime for our friends to take home. We enjoyed Chick-fil-A for dinner (courtesy of one of our amazing parents — thank you again!), and ended the evening cozy with a movie and snacks.

But more than anything… I just loved spending that extra time with them. 💛

There is something so sweet about seeing them relax, laugh, and just be kids in a safe space. These babies are truly more than “enrollment numbers” to me. They are loved, protected, and poured into every single day.

Thank you to the families who trusted me with your night out. It means so much.

We will be hosting another Parents Night Out next month, and I can’t wait to do it all over again. 🌙✨

❄️✨ January Recap at Patti Cakes Child Care ✨❄️

January was full of learning, exploration, and winter fun in both classrooms! Our little learners dove into a Winter Wonderland theme while learning all about polar animals and stayed active along the way.

📚 What we learned this month:

• Numbers: 11 & 12
• Shape: Circle ⭕
• Color: White 🤍

⭐ Preschool Spotlight:
Our preschoolers practiced sight words: Kind, Key, Look, Love, Like — and did an amazing job!

🧘🏽‍♀️ Movement Matters:
We made sure to get the wiggles out every day with daily yoga and movement activities, helping our kiddos build balance, focus, and calm bodies.

🎂 Special Moment:
We also celebrated one of our friends turning 4 years old! Birthday smiles, fun, and sweet memories all around 💙✨

We are so proud of all their growth this month. February, here we come! 💕🖤
