Our interns put together a must-have packing list for your student! An additional tip for them as they begin thinking about what they should pack: "keep track of things you rely on consistently for a week. pack them"

1. Tissues and medicine. You will get sick your first semester. Sorry.
2. Double up on towels and sheets. Otherwise laundry day is rough.
3. Air purifier > air freshener. A mini air purifier is a lifesaver. Trust.
4. Ottoman for the bed. Adds storage and is better than a ladder.
5. Curtains optional, each room has blinds.
6. Talk to your roommate about storage options and decor. Rug, fridge cart, mirror, etc.
7. Folding hangers and bins for increased closet storage.
8. Laundry basket with easy-to-remove or carry bag. Wheels don't like stairs.
9. Pet fish are optional. There are so many fish funerals. Save nemo.
10. Umbrella, rain jacket & boots. It does rain enough to warrant them.
12. Iron or steamer. You need it more often than you think.
11. Any and all cleaning supplies. Add a mini vacuum to the haul.
13. Headboard or large pillow. So your head doesn't hit the wall.
14. Sunscreen for the Texas heat. Aloe for when you forget about it.
15. Towel and swimsuit. we have a great pool and 234 days of sun.
16. Dryer sheets, detergent and delicates bag. Protect your Lulu.
