Good morning and Happy Tuesday! 🤩
I’m sure many kiddos are back from a recent break, but right before, they took a benchmark assessment.
- Is your kiddo on track for the year?
- Are there gaps or suggestions from your student’s teacher, but they’re unable to provide 1:1 help?
- Are you looking for a certified teacher that can help?

Good morning and Happy Thursday! 🎉
As we near the end of summer and head into the new school year, it’ll be evident your student has lost some of their learning from the prior year(s).
Thats OK!
Take some time to refresh to give your student AND their upcoming teacher the truest “benchmark” for 2025-2026. Many students will return to school and take a test to see where they are for their current grade level, (this testing could last months yall). If students are not on grade-level, teachers will adjust their planning to GO BACKWARDS and RETEACH content from prior years rather spending those precious, slow first few months on GRADE-LEVEL or ABOVE GRADE-LEVEL content with your students in fun and enriching ways.
And yall wonder why everyone’s checked out by October!
Reminder:
Public schools aren’t actually allowing the 1:1 they claim, it’s almost impossible in a real classroom.
- Teachers are wearing so many hats, sometimes even Admin hats, and can struggle with:
1. Staying on the District’s pace for the year (students are not one size fits all)
2. Introducing/changing curriculum/materials near or during the beginning of the school year forcing teachers to forget what they’ve learned in prior years, including their summers, to quickly learn and enforce a whole new curriculum (this means teachers will either be tired or scrambling from using their personal time to think of where students may get stuck and how to teach while staying on pace. Mind you this is still the first few months of the school year)
3. Not have the necessary supports and will be forced to put off small group time; this time is supposed to be based on similar achievement levels and is usually only 10-20 mins a day per group *teachers are expected to see 4-6 groups daily* while not falling behind on District Pacing for whole group instruction.
4. Dealing with multiple interruptions daily/weekly for rallies/spirit events, planning, meetings, specials, lunch, recess, library, etc. ALL WHILE STAYING ON DISTRICT PACING!
This is not a system built to allow teachers to actually teach the way students need. It’s scripted, extremely rigorous, and the end goal is to master the STAAR.
***STAAR TEST IS A READING TEST!*** students MUST have reading skills to master this test.
Is it hard? No. Is it time consuming? Yes.
I took STAAR myself before my students did so I could find HOW to teach the content efficiently and I’ve cracked it. It’s all reading. My students’ results surpassed campus-level expectations, surpassed DISTRICT-level expectations and MET State-level expectations. This is not something regularly done by public educators *MEANING my strategies and claims for success ARE GUARANTEED*.
Keep tutoring in mind as the school year ramps up. I specialize in READING!
1:1 and group options are available with me in person and online. Reach out for a private assessment, comparison from your teacher’s notes, and finding those gaps and BRIDGING them for your student’s own understanding and success! I will even work with the PARENTS on how to continue helping their student without me!
My heart and knowledge is for the children of the future!
Consider investing in the breakdown for the longevity of yours and your students’ academic achievements.

Happy Summer Friends!
It’s been a while, but now that things have become more reliable and consistent on my end, I’d love to start 6 week summer tutoring sessions back up! I am thinking of online via Zoom and in-person sessions at a local library or your home for 1-2 hours, 2-3 times a week beginning June 23rd to July 28th to focus on a few goals: 1. Find any missed gaps from recent grade level, 2. Bridge those gaps with breakdowns and practice (tutoring and some “homework”) at student’s level then building to recent grade level, and 3. Preparation for upcoming grade level.
Tutoring Hours: Monday-Saturday 10:15am-12:15pm
Should there be clients/students in the same area or grade/level, grouping can be a possibility. Details can be discussed at the time of booking.
I can’t wait to work with you again! Spots are limited, reserve your weekly schedule today and let’s learn! 📚🎉

Good morning and Happy Saturday! 🎉
Progress Alert ‼️
A few weeks ago, this student was LOST and making up her own rules for multiplication and division with single and double digits! NOWWWW, we are mastering and growing to match our 5th grade content!
Review and demonstration on multiplication and division AND bringing in capacity! 🤯
This kid’s a rockstar learner! 👏🏽🎉

Good morning and Happy Saturday! We are back after a crazy long week!
Prime numbers vs Composite numbers.
My student has been coming up with her own methods to create her understanding and we have to correct it! Starting at the beginning of the year and making our way to current concepts! I’d say we’re showing some stellar understanding!
