September is Deaf Awareness Month! 💜

This month we're celebrating the Deaf and Hard of Hearing students, families, and staff who make our RDSPD program what it is. Language access isn't an extra — it's a right, and it's something we work toward every single day, in every classroom and every conversation.

Whether it's ASL, spoken language, or both, every child deserves full, meaningful access to communication.

Thank you to our incredible TODs, interpreters, and support staff for making that access possible. 🙌

Have you ever wanted to learn American Sign Language (ASL)? Now is your chance! Whether you're a parent, educator, student, or community member, our FREE Beginning ASL Classes are a fun and welcoming way to learn a new language while connecting with the Deaf community.

📍 Location: Crowley Middle School Library
🕔 When: Tuesdays, 5:00–6:00 PM
📚 No experience necessary!

Learning ASL opens the door to meaningful communication, greater inclusion, and new opportunities to connect with others. Come learn the basics in a supportive, interactive environment—bring a friend or the whole family!
