One of the good things about this era of shelter-in-place is that I have had this beauty set up in my house 24 hours a day for the past 6 weeks.

I have just finished writing two new drum books:

1) "JAZZ DRUMMING INDEPENDENCE WORKOUT IN 3/4"

This book is all about playing jazz in 3/4 time. It contains over 400 exercises designed to improve time keeping, comping, reading, setting up big band figures, and soloing.

2) "THE FLAMMED WINDMILL: Exploring Rhythmic Phrasing Using Variations on the Single Flammed Mill"

This book is all about playing over the bar line. It will improve rudimental snare drum ability, but is primarily aimed at developing complex rhythmic phrasing and creativity. Repetition of these exercises and etudes will help you internalize the way different patterns fit into various subdivisions and time signatures. Great for snare drum or drum set players.
