Today we surprised our teachers with delicious cookies from VV's Treats, a business owned by a former EMS ISD graduate. What a fun way to celebrate the end of our first week back!

Behind every welcoming classroom is a teacher who has spent countless hours planning, preparing, organizing, and dreaming about the year ahead. Our Highland teachers have worked tirelessly to ensure students feel seen, supported, and ready to learn from day one.

The impact they will have on our students this year is immeasurable, and we are so grateful for each and every one of them.

What a wonderful start to the school year! Our first two days have been filled with smiles, learning, laughter, and so much Hawk pride. We are beyond excited to have our students back in the halls and classrooms where they belong.
Our Hawks have jumped right into routines, participated in activities, built new connections, and shown what it means to be part of the Highland family. We have been especially proud of the kindness, respect, and positive attitudes our students have demonstrated as they navigate the excitement and challenges that come with a new school year.❤️💙
