June Piano Pizza Party 2023!

Our Piano Pizza Party today was so much fun! We had a virtual party (students received a pizza delivery after performances!) AND an in-person party with performances, pizza and music/pizza-themed games:

Two teams played a version of tic-tac-toe that was actually pretty challenging- & the winning team each round got to play an improv ensemble piece! Musical chairs was fun, too!

Rhythm, tempo and time signatures were discussed and we had a few activities reinforcing those topics, as well. We also took time to recognize some special student accomplishments.

Great job, everyone! Thanks for playing today! And thanks to the parents, siblings and family members who support them. Have a great summer! 🎶

Piano Day is held on the 88th day of the year (March 29th in normal years and March 28th in leap years) in celebration of and reference to the 88 keys on a standard piano.
