This week, several Northrop High School Manufacturing, Engineering, Technology, and Trades (METT) admin and teachers had the incredible opportunity to step outside the classroom and into the workforce alongside Work In Roads. Today, they spent time at MacAlisterâs in Indianapolis gaining hands-on experience pouring concrete and learning firsthand about the skills, teamwork, and dedication required in the civil construction industry.
Experiences like these help our educators connect classroom learning through the lense of real-world careers, bringing valuable insights back to our students. Thank you to Work In Roads and MacAlisterâs for investing in our teachers and helping strengthen the connection between education and industry.
A huge shout out to Eric FisherâŠthank you for your hospitality and a great week of learning!
